EASY-ECO 2, May 15 – 17, 2003, is the second conference of this kind. The first Conference EASY - ECO I took place im May 2002 in Vienna. Proceedings can be downloaded here. Whereas at EASY-ECO I the status quo of evaluation methods for sustainability were discussed amongst scientists,

EASY-ECO 2 aims to

• provide exchange of experience between practicioners who commission evaluations and those who carry them out
• bring together the practical experience with the scientific knowledge and theories
• give an overview of evaluation practice in Europe (11 country surveys will be presented)
• talk about the most commonly used methods for evaluation of sustainability
• point out the advantages as well as the limits of these methods
• give each participant the chance to meet the person he/she wants to meet personally (see Partner Meetings)
