EASY-ECO Saarbrücken Conference
The Venue
The ‘training center’ (http://www.bildungszentrum-kirkel.de)
in Kirkel was established by the “Chamber of Work” (Arbeitskammer
des Saarlandes) in 1956. Yearly, about 20,000 employees are being
trained in the Bildungszentrum. The building’s agreeable
learning atmosphere is being used for a number of different events by
the Arbeitskammer as well as by unions, political parties, foundations
and companies. Though being placed in the open countryside, the venue’s
transport connections are extraordinary, for example through the highly
frequented railroad between Saarbrücken and Homburg. The car park
is free of charge. Technically, the venue’s brilliantly equipped.
Last but not least, the kitchen enjoys a very good reputation, even outside
Saarland.
